Welcome to Elder Class!

My name is Mr Turner and I am very excited to be welcoming your child into Elder Class for 2026/27. We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning and keeping you updated with all our hard work across the year!

Our dedicated team are here to support every child along the way. Mr Turner, Miss Bishop, Mrs Denniss and Miss Grant work hard to create a positive and supportive atmosphere where all the children in Elder Class feel safe and supported. 

Pupils in Elder Class will be set homework on a Friday.  Spellings will be given out for a test the following Friday. We strongly encourage reading at home three times per week. 

Elder Class has an open-door policy and encourage you to reach out at any time if you have questions, concerns or would simply like to chat about your child’s progress.

Mr Turner and the team are looking forward to working closely with you to make this year a happy and successful one for all pupils.
